Hydrostatic transmission is the most ideal and most advanced transmission method for internal combustion forklifts. Both steering and driving are rear-wheel drive, called rear-wheel drive, which has the advantage of being low-cost and easier to move relative to front-wheel drive; disadvantage: when walking on bare ground and slopes, the force on the drive wheels is reduced when lifting , the drive wheel may slip. Most battery forklifts today use dual-motor front-wheel drive. Compared to four wheels, it has a smaller turning radius, is more flexible, and is best suited for operation inside a container. At present, some forklift manufacturers apply AC technology to electric counterbalance forklifts, which greatly improves the overall performance of the forklift and greatly reduces the later maintenance cost.
